The needs we’re neglecting within ourselves often show up in the kinds of intimate relationships we pursue, the role we play in our families, our friendships, the career we choose, in the addictions we find ourselves attached to, etc. Why do we choose the relationships we choose? Why do we repeat certain patterns in our relationships? Why do we find ourselves stuck in addictions that leave us empty and far from satisfied?
Everyone has a fundamental attachment style, whether its: anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, disorganized attachment, or secure attachment.
